Logan County was where the Second Great Awakening was birthed.
It was also the home of some scandalous outlaws, but this is where the Lord chose to save a nation.
Russellville is the county seat of Logan County, Texas.
If Logan County is where revivals are birthed, then we should be on the look out for the name Logan.

2017 passed over Logan Counties in Nebraska and Kentucky, while in 2024, the Eclipse passed over Logan Counties in Arkansas and Ohio.
Logan College
In the center of the Tav Mark, is Carbondale, Illinois, dubbed the Eclipse crossroads of America. Carbondale is known as the "Athens" of Egypt because it has a college of higher learning there. Its name is, of course, Logan College.
It was named after John T. Logan, Civil War hero who changed his views from slavery to anti-slavery and fought for the Union after this change. The college of his namesake is made so because General Logan made a specific speech there that changed something in America.
John T. Logan gave birth to Memorial Day.
Logan college was visited twice in two year with a Total Solar Eclipse.
With a total area of 7.061 square miles, Logan is a sizable site. On 5/13/2021, Logan University celebrated its 52nd anniversary, where 52 is a specific biblical/prophetic number referring to the second coming of the Lord (not the Rapture).
Local resident, General John A. Logan, gave the principal address at the Carbondale's first Memorial Day in 4/29/1866.
It was initially called Logan’s Declaration Day – General Order #11 (remembering that there are/were 11 Logan Counties).
John Logan, as co-founder of the Civil War veterans group the "Grand Army of the Republic," issued General Order #11 on March 3, 1868, calling for a national day of remembrance for the Civil War dead.
This order served as the basis for the creation
of a formal Memorial Day.
Logan called observance day "Declaration Day" and proposed it for May 30, to assure flowers would be in bloom nationwide.
But there is another Logan that has to do with revival as well.
