The Islamic Jesus’ other primary role will be to confront and kill the Dajjal, the Islamic antichrist (aka the enemy of Islam), along with all of his followers.
All of Dajjal’s followers are Jews.
Muslims will call the Dajjal the king of the Jews but these two opposers will not be the King of the Jews, but rather Elijah and Moses.
"Dajjal" is the Two Witnesses, who are sent to Israel to rebuild the temple and protect he temple mount.
It will be the False Jesus who leads the final “crusade” against the Jewish nation. In Islam, it will be this Jesus (Isa) who will bring them to war at the end of the world.
The Muslims will not know who Elijah is, but it is said of him:
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Elijah truly shall come first and restore all things.
Mat 17:11
The Temple and the Mount
The Two Witnesses (Elijah and Moses) will take over the temple mount. They are to oversee the building of the Temple, and protect it for 3-1/2 years.
And the angel stood, saying,
“Rise and measure the temple of God...
And I will give power to my two witnesses,
and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days,
Revelation 11:1, 3
According to Islam, and no one can wage war with the Dajjal. Muslim teaching also says the Dajjal will have letters on his forehead.
And if anyone desires to hurt them,
fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies;
and if anyone desires to hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
No one can make war with them.
Revelation 11:5
Islam says they will have 70,000 followers, but Scripture says there will be two witnesses who will have 144,000.
And I heard the number of them which were sealed:
and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand
of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Revelation 7:4
Muslim teachings says that the Dajjal will work supernatural miracles.
[The Two Witnesses] have power to shut heaven,
that it rain not in the days of their prophecy [Elijah]:
and have power over waters to turn them to blood,
and to smite the earth with all plagues [Moses],
as often as they will.
Revelation 11:6
No one can stop the Two Witnesses, and the world will rag against them in fear. They are tormented by these immovable witnesses of God called by the False Jesus as the "dajjal."
But the showdown with the Mahdi Beast is about to happen.
