The First City: Eagle Pass
The Eclipse touches first town’s American soil in Eagle Pass, just before Passover.
Eagle = America’s symbol
Pass = Passover
This is a sign that as the Eclipse enters United States' soil, to drive home the point of the heart of the Father, to have a Passover for this nation, the shadow touches Eagle Pass first.
How many people are the city of Eagle Pass expecting?
“Here in Eagle Pass, I mean it’s a wild guess but we’re hoping roughly anywhere from 50 to 100 thousand,” said Arturo Marquez, Economic Development Director for the City of Eagle Pass.
Look into what’s happening this year in Eagle Pass.
Why is the first city were the eclipse touches US land at the Texas border coming into the headlines right now? This time of all times. Go research what’s happening there, especially about the graves of missing people being opened.
Why are graves being opened? People who went missing, and were buried in graves are now being opened.
Eagle Pass was also home to a radar base. They constantly look into the skies in this place, where the Total Solar Eclipse first comes on to the United States territory.
The End of Civil War
Shelby Park (seen below) The park was named for Confederate General Joseph O. Shelby, who fled to Mexico through Eagle Pass in 1865.
This park is the center
of the border conflict.
It is also called the grave of the confederacy for it was here that General Shelby buried the last confederate flag of the war as he fled the country.
Shelby refused to concede defeat, and because he would not surrender, he and his troops numbering around 1000, left the country at this site. This happened on July 4th, 1865.
